FTTR (Fiber to the Room) refers to an all-optical networking solution that extends fiber optic cables to every room in a home, replacing traditional Ethernet transmission methods. This design upgrade from Fiber to the Home (FTTH) to Fiber to the Room (FTTR) ensures seamless coverage of signals throughout the entire house.
In the cable television network, the short distance distribution should be selected as the fusion tapered type (FBT splitter), and the long distance high-density distribution should be selected as the planar waveguide type (PLC splitter). We can quickly identify the cause of excessive attenuation through the following pricing steps: clean the fiber optic connector, check the bending status of the fiber optic cable, turn off the optical modem and restart for basic testing. If the problem is not found, continue to use OTDR and optical power precise positioning and full range optical power testing.
