OPGW tension clamps are used for connecting optical cable lines with terminal towers, tight tension tower and intersection angle tower or pole, etc, and preformed aluminum clad steel dead end protect and improve the anti vibration effect of optical cables. The preformed tension clamp is formed by multiple spiral preformed dead ends to form a hollow tube. The hollow tube forms an inward compressive force under tension, and the greater the tension, the greater the pressure.

Installation steps of tension clamp

  1. Align the installation mark of the outer wire with the optical cable and make the installation mark
  2. Align the installation marks of the first set of inner wire ends with the optical cable and wrap it around
  3. The other groups of internal threads are operated in the same way as the first group
  4. Install all the internal wires completely
  5. Align the outer wire installation mark with the inner wire installation mark
  6. Wrap a leg inside and wrap it up
  7. Wrap the outer thread end properly
  8. The installation of the tension clamp is completed
