This box is equipped with an adapter panel where blue fiber-optic adapters are installed. These adapters enable the connection and distribution of fiber-optic cables, facilitating the transfer of optical signals.
It can accommodate 2×11mm×116mm or 2×16mm round indoor cables. Each cable entry is equipped with plastic blocks for dust-proofing and cable clamps to securely fix the cables in place. And it is also designed for 2×3mm indoor cables. Each outlet has rubber seals, which provide better protection for the cables and prevent dust and moisture from entering. There are 6 rubber seals per 2 cores.
There are 4 cable winding rings, which help in organizing and managing the fiber-optic cables neatly, preventing them from getting tangled. Besides, that overlap clip ensures that the splice trays fit together properly, maintaining the structural integrity of the box’s internal components. Moreover, it is used to ground the metal parts, enhancing the safety and stability of the device by preventing static electricity buildup. Last but not least, the supporting rod holds the cover open when the box is in use, making it convenient for installation and maintenance work.
The box comes with 2 fusion splice trays. Each tray can hold 12 cores, so the maximum capacity is 24 cores. If only 1 tray is used, an 8-port SC adapter plate can be utilized, allowing the box to be used in FTTH networks. The tray cover has a laser mark for identification, and the tray is fixed on the bottom with screws.
The entire box is locked with a long screw. It is made of high-strength engineering plastic PC + ABS alloy, in gray color, and has dust-proof properties, ensuring the safety and protection of the internal fiber-optic components.
