Detailed Display of Fibre Connection Box
The box has a compact and rugged design. It features multiple ridges on the sides, which likely serve for heat dissipation and structural reinforcement. It is made of durable black plastic, ensuring robustness and resistance to environmental factors. There are also mounting brackets at the bottom, allowing for secure installation in various locations. The front panel has several slots and ports for fibre cable entry and exit.
Inside, there are components for organising fibre optic cables. You can see green fibre adapters (connectors) that facilitate the joining of fibres. There are also spools or trays for fibre splicing and storage, allowing fibres to be neatly coiled and protected.
It provides a sealed and protected environment for fibre optic connections, safeguarding them from dust, moisture, and physical damage, which is crucial for maintaining the integrity and performance of fibre optic networks.
The upper part of the lid has a transparent window, through which several key components are visible:
- 1×8 or 1×16 Mini Splitters could be placed here.
- Optical Fiber Pigtails: Multiple colored optical fibers are neatly arranged.
- Fiber Optic Adapters (Connectors): A set of green fiber optic SC adapters are installed, providing interfaces for connecting patch cords.
- Cable Entry/Management Holes: Three circular holes are present for routing and managing fiber optic cables into or out of the box.
There is a stainless component, which has multiple holes and screw holes. The design of the holes and the bent shape suggest that it functions as a connecting and fixing part. It could be a hinge-like component for structural opening and closing, or a modular connecting piece for assembling different modules. Such components are commonly found in communication equipment, industrial control devices, and other scenarios that require stable mechanical connections.
This box supports fibre splicing (joining fibres together) and the use of fibre connectors, enabling efficient management of fibre optic links in applications such as FTTH, telecommunications networks, and data centres.
