Pushable Fiber Patch Cable are simplex or duplex fiber optic cable pre-terminated and polished with SC connectors. After being pushed or pulled through a microduct, pipeline, or wall holes, the smooth wall protective sleeve is easily removed and SC outer housing and inner white main body are snapped into place.

This metal or plastic pushable SC connector functions are similar like the filed installation connector but without mechanical connection or fusion splicing, simplify the deployment of fiber where one or two fibers are required like FTTH network, keep optical reliability and fiber protection but greatly reduced the installation costs and time.

How to put on and take off the protection sleeve?

✅If the whole connector is enclosed in a protective sleeve, after pulling fiber optic cable out of the designated hole, simply remove the sleeve without tools by unscrewing the nut or opening the sleeve. Then, plug the connector into any fiber optic device port you desire.

✅If only part of the fiber optic connector is enclosed in a protective sleeve, after pulling fiber optic cable out, simply remove the nut or open the sleeve too. Install the SC connector housing and white body according to the instructions. Then, connect the connector to the fiber optic device port to establish network connectivity.

Pushable Fiber Patch Cable Types

Yingda offers Pushable Fiber Patch Cable for pushing or pulling applications with a 3MM BOOT DIAMETER. This solution is suitable for any indoor outdoor fiber optic cable that can be stripped to meet this diameter. If the fiber inside is bare  fiber or 0.9mm tight buffer, we may add loose tubes, heat shrink tubing, and breakout kits during the manufacturing process to protect and reinforce the fiber and ensure its tensile strength. Pushable Fiber Patch Cables with metal or plastic protection sleeve are typically used in narrow pipes, microducts, conduits, or wall openings. For example, in older residential areas without pre-buried fiber, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) installation is essential. These fo cables require only a small opening in the wall and a pull cord for seamless installation. Because the cable sheath must be well protected, and the fiber inevitably bends during the pulling process, G.65A72 or G.657B3 fiber is generally recommended over G652D.
