Detailed Display of XGS PON Splitter 1×5 Unbalanced
The 1×5 unbalanced splitting ratio means that the optical power is distributed unevenly among the five output ports. This allows network designers to allocate different amounts of optical power to different ports based on factors such as the length of the fiber runs to each subscriber or specific network design requirements.
At the core is a compact module that handles the optical signal splitting 1×5. It ensures the unbalanced distribution of the input optical signal into five output signals, which is crucial for scenarios where different output ports need varying signal powers. Also, there is one input connector, typically of a type compatible with XGS-PON standards (SC/APC). This connector is used to receive the incoming optical signal from the XGS-PON line. Five output connectors are present, all matching the input connector type for consistency. These connectors send the split optical signals to different subscriber lines or network elements.

This splitter is equipped with optical cables. The fibers have a diameter of 0.9mm, providing a good balance between flexibility and robustness for easy installation and routing within network cabinets or along distribution paths.
