The product is an Unbalanced 1×9 PON Splitter with a 70%/30% split ratio. It features a PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) splitter design.
It comes packaged in a clear plastic tray, which helps protect the splitter and fibers during storage and transportation, ensuring the delicate optical components remain undamaged. This splitter is used in passive optical networks (PON) to split an incoming optical signal into nine output signals, with power distribution at 70% and 30% among the outputs, enabling efficient signal distribution in fiber – optic communication systems.
