Detailed Display of Cable Termination Box
This sealed, hinged box with a secure locking mechanism (visible as a metal lock or latch on the lid) is used to protect internal components from dust, moisture, and physical damage. It is made of durable, weather-resistant plastic (likely ABS or PC) in a light gray/white finish, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. And it is also equipped with multiple cable glands (usually two or more) at the bottom or side, allowing for organized ingress and egress of fiber optic cables while maintaining environmental sealing.
Inside, there is a fiber splice tray (the circular/rectangular component with slots and guides) for neatly arranging and protecting fiber splices (both fusion and mechanical splices). And it features cable fixing clamps to secure incoming/outgoing fibers, preventing tension on splices or connectors. The label inside the lid helps identify fiber ports for easy management and troubleshooting.
It could house several fiber optic adapters (e.g., SC/APC green adapters visible in the images), enabling quick connection of patch cords to link with end devices (like ONTs in FTTH scenarios). 1pc 1×2(SC) or 1×4(LC) steel tube are both well-matched to this box.
