Description
FDB0208A is a new generation product for fiber to the home. It is designed to connect feeder cable or distribution cable to subscriber’s drop cable with PLC splitter in FTTX network.

Detailed Display of Fiber Splice Box
The main body of the box FDB0208A is made of gray engineering plastic and has a square shape with a flip-open design. A red sealing strip is embedded around the edge of the box cover. Together with the snap-on design of the cover, it ensures the sealing performance of the box. There are fixed mounting parts (such as screw fixing seats) on the side of the box, which facilitate its installation on carriers like walls and electric poles.
With the design of sealing strips and rubber cable joints, it can reach an IP54 or higher protection rating, which can effectively prevent dust and water and adapt to complex environments such as outdoors or corridors.
The bottom is equipped with 2 cable inlets and 8 outlets, which adopt a rubber sealing joint design. They can introduce or distribute multiple optical fibers at the same time and effectively prevent the intrusion of water and dust.
This box is equipped with a mini-package cassette type optical splitter, which is often based on PLC technology, with SC/APC connectors, suitable for compact installation scenarios like fiber optic distribution boxes.
It is equipped with green SC-type fiber adapters (flanges) with APC (Angled Physical Contact) polish, which can realize the quick connection between fiber jumpers and pigtails and ensure low-loss transmission of optical signals. These adapters are arranged in a modular manner, facilitating batch connection and later maintenance.
There is a fiber fusion splicing tray (light blue disc structure) for fiber fusion splicing. The fused fibers can be coiled orderly in the tray to avoid winding and pulling. It is equipped with a fiber fixing clip (black component) to fix the loose tube of the fiber and ensure the stable position of the fiber in the box.
Most of the internal components are modular, which is convenient to configure flexibly according to actual needs (such as the number of fiber cores) and also conducive to later maintenance and capacity expansion. The engineering plastic material has certain impact resistance and anti-aging performance, and can withstand mechanical stress during daily installation and use, prolonging the service life of the equipment.
