Detailed Display of FTTH Distribution Box
This box features a robust, black plastic enclosure with a hinged lid, ensuring durability and protection against environmental factors like dust, moisture, and minor physical impacts. The enclosure has a secure locking mechanism (visible with a screw on the lid) to keep the internal components safe.
Multiple rugged, rubber-sealed ports are present on the side for fiber cables to enter and exit. These ports provide strain relief and waterproofing, allowing for organized cable management and preventing damage to the fibers.

Inside, the green components are fiber optic SC/APC adapters. They are arranged in a modular layout, enabling easy connection between incoming and outgoing fibers or fiber jumpers. The modular design of adapters and the spacious internal layout allow for easy expansion or modification as network demands change, making it suitable for various FTTH deployment scenarios, from small residential areas to larger multi-dwelling units.

Inside the lid and the main compartment, there are circular spools and grooved organizers for neatly coiling excess fiber optic cables. This prevents fiber bending beyond the minimum bend radius, which could cause signal loss or fiber breakage.

For fiber splicing, heat shrink sleeves or protection tubes are used to reinforce and protect the spliced fiber joints. Metal clamps are present to secure the fiber cables, preventing tension on the delicate fiber strands and adapters.

The internal fibers are color-coded (following industry standards like TIA-598), which helps in identifying and managing different fibers efficiently during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. And it is equipped with 1×8 PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) splitter, which is a key component in fiber optic networks, typically used for splitting an optical signal into multiple output signals in a passive optical network (PON) architecture.
