Splitter Modular 1×8 has a cuboid form. The housing is typically made of metal or plastic, providing protection and organizing internal circuits. Its surface is simple, facilitating installation and integration into fiber optic distribution frames and similar equipment.
There is 1 input interface, often using a green SC connectors for connecting the input fiber and receiving optical signals, serving as the entry point for optical signals into the splitter. Moreover, there are 8 output interfaces, mostly blue LC/UPC connectors. They are used to output the split optical signals to different fiber links, connecting to user-side or lower-level devices. The pictures clearly show 8 blue output ports arranged in an orderly manner.
The size of this optical splitter is 130mm * 100mm * 25mm. It can be installed in the module slots of fiber optic distribution frames through rails, buckles, etc., or in small fiber optic distribution boxes. Some splitters also support wall-mounting and rack-mounting, adapting to the fiber optic network cabling architectures of different scenarios.
