Patch Cord FO LC LC Details
This PDLC patch cord consists of a 2 core FTTA outdoor cable with armor inside, a PDLC connector, and a DLC connector. The length is optional. The PDLC is an IP68 waterproof connector, compatible with some outdoor waterproof boxes from ZTE or Huawei. It is widely used in fiber optic communication, outdoor 5G base stations, and video surveillance.

The PDLC waterproof connector consists of a high-precision plastic shell, waterproof sealing material, and a bend-resistant tail sleeve, allowing for seamless connection to 5mm or 7mm base station cables. Internally, it uses a 2 core blue and yellow tight buffer 2mm subunit structure. The commonly used fiber optic connectors are LC connectors, duplex.

Base station patch cord fiber optic cables have a 4 core structure. If the customer only uses 2 cores, heat shrink tubing should be used for protection after stripping the outer sheath. If the customer wants better tensile strength for the connector during dragging, spiral armor can be added to the branch. If the customer does not want the connector to bear tensile force, a corrugated sleeve can be tied to the outer sheath at one end of the branch with a pulling eye. This will better protect the connector from damage.
