Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable Pre Terminated Patch Cable Details
ODC connectors come in male and female versions; the male connector has pins, and the female connector has guide holes. Connecting them is simple: just align the male connector with the guide hole on the female connector and insert it directly. No need adapters additionally.
The picture below illustrates how to connect two ODC to FC patch cables to an ODC to ODC patch cable:
The ODC to FC patch cable uses a male connector for the ODC section, while the ODC-ODC patch cable has female connectors at both ends. Therefore, simply insert the ODC male connector into the ODC female connector to establish the optical link.

Yingda can provide various types of outdoor waterproof connectors, such as Fullaxs, ODC, ODVA, PDLC, NSN, OptiTap, Mini SC, etc. These connectors require a dedicated fiber optic adapter to connect the male connectors at both ends, thereby achieving fiber optic connectivity.
Note that these connectors only serve the purpose of waterproofing case, and corresponding LC, SC, or MPO fiber optic connectors need to be configured inside to achieve fiber optic transmission.
