SC APC Optical Attenuator Details
The plastic SC/APC optical attenuator has the same dimensions as metal attenuator SC, conforming to international standards. The single-mode fiber optic attenuator uses 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths, with a blue housing for UPC connectors and a green housing for APC connectors.
This plug in type attenuator has a fixed attenuation value and the attenuation level cannot be adjusted. It can connect two interfaces with the same type of connector. One end is a female connector, and the other end is a male connector. The male connector connects to the equipment, and the female connector connects to the patch cord or fiber optic cable that needs to be attenuated.
All build out attenuator manufacturer by Yingda use imported attenuating fiber and high-quality ceramic ferrules, ensuring stable and reliable performance with over 1000 mating cycles. Attenuation accuracy is ±0.5dB for 1-5dB attenuators and ±10% for 6-30dB attenuators.
The SC male-female type build out attenuator offers excellent isolation, effectively suppressing circuit noise and preventing electromagnetic interference, resulting in stable performance. It is widely used in fiber optic communication, fiber optic testing, and high-power equipment.
