This Gpon Passive Splitter 2×4 has a rectangular, compact enclosure. It features a label on the front with product info like name, PN, and SN. It is suitable for integration into fiber optic distribution systems.
On one side, there are green-colored LC fiber optic connectors. These connectors ensure precise and low-loss fiber optic connections. The module has a robust housing, likely made of metal, providing protection for internal optical components. The black elements at the bottom are for stability or mounting purposes, enabling easy installation in optical distribution frames or relevant equipment.
“IN” stands for the “Input” port, which is the interface used to connect to the upstream optical fiber signal (such as the optical signal from devices like OLT). As for those numbers, they are used to identify the output port numbers, facilitating the distinction of different optical signal output channels, and corresponding to the interfaces that are connected to lower-level devices (such as ONU, etc.) after splitting.
