Planar lightwave circuit (PLC) splitter is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology to distribute optical signals from Central Office (CO) to multiple premise locations.

LGX Module PLC splitter is most commonly used in the PON networks. It provides the complete protection for inner optical components and cable, as well as designed for the convenient and reliable installation, but its volume is relatively large. It’s mainly used for various connection and distribution products (outdoor fiber distribution box) or network cabinets.

Yingda can offer optical splitter in 1×2 1×4, 1×8, 1×16, 1×32 1×64 split ratio, and package can be mini module, ABS module, LGX modular, rack type, or closure type of optical plc splitter on different application.

LGX Cassette PLC Optical Fiber Splitter Details

The cable ports on the LGX modular can be SC or FC adapters; if use FC adapters, should use FC adapter square type;

1:2 1:4 and 1:8 optical splitter use the same dimension box, the front panel adapter ports are total 9 pcs, if 1:2 or 1:4 plc splitter, the rest ports will be sealed by blocked.

The whole box is made of high quality ABS material, grey color with top cover. The internal design is to use steel tube  splitter (also called mini splitter or blockless splitter) which is fix on the box back with glue. And generally the input and output adapter color will be different, if customer not specify, such as if 1×16 splitter with SC/APC connectors, we will use SC/UPC adapter blue color for the input pigtail to insert, and other ports keep the same color green as the splitter.

 

The steel tube is stainless steel material, and with Korea imported high quality PLC chips, tree structure, balanced split ratio.
