KG53 SC fast connector is a kind of connector which can solve the problem of ultra long distance wiring and fiber to the home project. It is widely used in the construction site of quick connection link, and provides a fast and stable connection during fiber optic construction. There is no need for glue curing and grinding in the field assembly, which provides a very fast and effective help for engineers on installation, maintenance and repair of fiber to the home project.

• Humanized structure design: preset limit point of drop cable at the boot, and automatically generate a small micro bend according to the correct cutting length of the product (see below figure). The micro bend indicates that the optical fiber has been in good contact with the embedded optical fiber, and the micro bend must exist, but not too large, otherwise the loss during the period will be affected.
• There is axial clamping force at the optical fiber joint. When the optical fiber is butted, the gap between the two optical fiber sections is almost zero, so the connection loss is less than 0.3dB.

KG53 FAST CONNECTOR TYPES

There are two types of SC fast connector in this series,  SC UPC, SC APC fast connector. Both types use the same outer appearance and internal structure, but different ferrule and housing color for different application request.

KG53 Fast Connector Dimension

The connector total length is 53mm from the top end of ferrule till the end of connector. The boot can be with 2x3mm flat drop cable or 2×1.6mm drop cable, it is special design for FTTH drop cable application.

This connector biggest advantage is the structure, most of connectors on market is plastic V-GROOVE, but this one is CERAMIC V-groove, which ensure the stable high quality optical performance no matter high or low temperature, or harsh environment, due to the ceramic will not be affected by the temperature.
