4 Port Fibre Termination Unit Details

The fiber optic cable entry and exit ports on the fiber optic drop box are both located at the bottom. The left side features a circular main cable entry port, while the right side has the drop cable exit port, accommodating 2x3mm flat drop wires. Both entry and exit points are equipped with specialized securing devices inside of the optical outlet, ensuring safety and stability and preventing shaking or detachment that could damage the fiber.

The black sealing rubber plugs are removable for easy installation. With an IP65 waterproof rating, it is suitable for indoor and outdoor wall mounting.

Each fiber optic panel is injection molded from high-strength engineering plastic, ensuring high strength, durability, and UV resistance. A special iron pillar design requires a dedicated key for security and theft prevention.

The smooth surface facilitates customer logo printing, and the mold itself features laser-resistant markings, preventing wear and eliminating the need for additional labeling labor, thus enhancing durability. The lid and base utilize a hinged design, ensuring the lid won’t detach when the box is opened, facilitating on-site installation.

The fibre termination unit atb box itself features a flip-up fusion splice tray, supporting up to 4 core fiber optic cables, and has 4 independent slots foir 40mm heat shrinkable tubing.

The fusion tray is secured with a uniquely designed clip; after splicing, it simply snaps onto the bottom bracket.

The bottom of the box has a dedicated adapter bracket for securing 4 SC fiber optic adapters with earpieces, marked with the numbers 12345678. If using an LC duplex adapter, up to 8-core fiber optic cables can be fused.

What makes this box special is that it can not only be used directly for fusion splicing, which will be configured with adapters and pigtails for use. But it can also add a fiber splitting function. With only one fiber optic connection, it can directly split the signal into four equal parts by simply installing a 1:4 fiber splitter inside the box. This eliminates the need to introduce four fibers one by one for splicing, saving on fiber optic costs and on-site installation time and labor costs. There is splitter steel tube slot design on the tray itself.
