Details of OFC Termination Box

This is a compact, white enclosure, which is made of durable PC/ABS plastic with two main output ports. A locking mechanism (top-right) secures the lid, and a triangular warning mark is visible. The design is weather-resistant (often IP65-rated) for indoor/outdoor use.

Inside, a splice tray (the circular component) holds fused fiber connections, with colored fibers (yellow, blue, red, etc.) routed neatly. Cable glands (black clips) secure incoming/outgoing cables (e.g., the yellow feeder cable) to prevent strain. The tray also manages excess fiber length while maintaining the minimum bend radius (≥37.5mm) to avoid signal loss.

The green SC/LC adapters (on the right) allow plug-and-play connectivity for drop cables. The fibers (from the splice tray) are terminated to these adapters, and the internal routing ensures organized, protected connections. This design supports both fusion splicing and mechanical splicing for flexibility.
