Detailed Display of Outdoor Fiber Optic Termination Box
This box is a crucial device in fiber optic communication networks, designed for the termination, splicing, and distribution of optical fibers.
It can accommodate 2 cables of either 11mm×116mm size or 16mm round indoor cable. Each entry point is equipped with plastic blocks for dustproofing and cable clamps to securely fix the cables in place. And there are 2 cables of 42mm indoor cable for exit. Each outlet is fitted with rubber seals, which provide better protection against dust and moisture. The rubber seals come in a set of 6 with 2 cores each.
There are 4 cable winding rings, which help in managing and organizing the optical fibers neatly, preventing them from being tangled or damaged. Besides, overlap clip ensures that the splice trays fit together properly, maintaining the structural integrity and stability of the internal components. Moreover, a grounding device is present for the metal parts, which is important for safety, as it helps to dissipate any static electricity or electrical surges, protecting the device and the fibers. Last but not least, the cover is supported by a rod, which makes it easier to open and close the box, and also helps in keeping the cover in place when opened for maintenance or splicing work.
The box is equipped with 2 fusion splice trays. Each tray can hold 12 cores, so the maximum capacity of the box is 24 cores. If only 1 tray is used, an 8-ports SC adapter plate can be utilized, allowing the box to be used in FTTHnet works. The tray cover has a laser mark for identification. The tray itself is fixed on the bottom with screws, ensuring it stays securely in position.
The whole box is locked by a long screw. It is made of high-strength engineering plastic PC + ABS alloy, in gray color, and is dustproof, providing good protection for the internal fiber optic components.
The box is packaged 1 piece per cardboard box, which offers good protection during transportation and storage. And standard accessories include insulation tape, nylon ties, sandpaper, heat-shrink sleeves, number marks, expansion screws, and a user manual, etc., which facilitate the installation process.
