The termination box with a 12-core capacity is a specialized device for fiber optic cable management.

It can accommodate two types of indoor cables. One type is 2 cables with dimensions 11mm×116mm, and the other is 2 round cables with a diameter of 16mm. Each cable entry is equipped with plastic blocks to prevent dust, and cable clamps are used to fix the cables in place.

For the cable exit, it handles 2 indoor cables with dimensions 4mm×2mm. Each outlet is fitted with rubber seals, which provide better protection for the cables. There is a set of rubber seals with 6 pieces, each having 2 cores.

There are 4 cable winding rings, which help in neatly arranging and managing the fiber optic cables to avoid tangling. Besides, overlap ensures that the splice trays fit together properly, maintaining the structural integrity and organization within the box. Moreover, the metal parts are equipped with a grounding device, which is crucial for safety as it helps to dissipate any static electricity or electrical surges. Last but not least, a supporting rod is provided for the cover, making it easy to open and keep the cover in an open position during maintenance or cable management tasks.

The box comes with 2 fusion splice trays. Each tray can hold 12 cores, so the maximum capacity of the box is 24 cores. If only 1 tray is used, an 8-piece SC adapter plate can be utilized, allowing the box to be used in a FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network. The tray cover has a laser mark for identification, and the tray itself is fixed on the bottom with screws.

The entire box is locked using a long screw. It is made of high-strength engineering plastic, specifically a PC + ABS alloy, in gray color. This material not only makes the box durable but also provides dust-proof functionality.
