Application of 1×16 PLC Splitter
Mainly used in FTTx (Fiber to the x, including FTTH, FTTO, etc.) passive optical networks, for splitting and distributing optical signals at the optical line terminal (OLT) to the optical network unit (ONU) end, enabling multiple users to share fiber resources.

Details of 1×16 PLC Splitter
Green connectors are typically SC/APC connectors (distinguished by the green color and angled physical contact design), which reduce back reflection and are commonly used in PON systems. The single green connector on one end is the input, and the 16 green connectors on the other end are the outputs. The white cables are usually single-mode fiber (G.657A or similar), suitable for long-distance transmission and high-speed optical signals, with outer jackets that provide protection and flexibility.
Each splitter is placed in a transparent plastic tray to prevent damage during transportation and storage, and is accompanied by a test report to record the optical performance parameters of the product.
