The male-female type fixed attenuator is primarily used in optical links to attenuate optical power, thereby achieving the desired target optical power value. The main types of male-female fixed attenuators include SC, LC, FC, ST, and MU.
Based on the ferrule end face, the fiber attenuator LC can be divided into PC and APC (angled eight-degree) types. The attenuation value offers a wide range of options, from 0 to 30 dB, and is suitable for wavelengths in the 850–1300 nm range.
