Details of Fiber Access Terminal Box
This box features a robust, black plastic enclosure (PC+ABS or ABS), whose lid (with a red accent seal) is hinged and designed to close securely ensuring durability and resistance to environmental factors like dust and moisture. It has multiple fiber optic inlets and outlets at the bottom and latches on both sides.
Inside, there are multi-layered, circular white trays at the center. They are designed for organizing, splicing, and storing optical fibers. Each tray has slots and holders to neatly arrange fiber optic cables, facilitate fusion splicing (joining fibers), and protect the delicate fiber connections from damage. 1×2, 1×4, 1X8 mini splitter / pigtails along with SC adapters are well-matched to this box.
Besides, those silver small components are fiber optic cable clamping and fixing devices, also known as cable anchors or fiber optic cable fasteners. They prevent the cables from being pulled or moved accidentally, which could damage the fiber connections or cause signal loss. By fixing the cables in place, these components ensure the stability and reliability of the fiber optic network within the terminal box.
