Armored Cable 2 Core Details
Yingda is a professional fiber patch cord manufacturer that can customize various fiber optic connectors SC LC FC ST, using high-quality ceramic ferrule, grinding methods UPC, PC, APC, etc.

Yingda provide different package for different length, if short patch cord, we use plastic self seling bags; if longer like 50m, 100m, 200m will use plastic film to wrap them. For better field installation, there are customer who prefer a paper reel allows for better control over the fiber optic cable’s movement and improves the ease of cable deployment and retraction. If your budget allows, this method is worth considering.

The standard practice for this duplex fiber optic patch cord is to strip the outer sheath of the main cable, then add stainless steel armor tubes to both ends, and finally pre-terminated a connector. Adding the metal armor allows it to withstand higher tension, better protecting the cable from damage. The two black filler cords are cut off during the cable cutting process.

In addition to the simple operations mentioned above, sometimes outdoor construction requires dragging fiber optic cables through conduits or narrow spaces. In such cases, we can add corrugated protective tubing to both ends of the patch cord and two nylon hooks at the very end. This effectively protects the fiber optic connectors inside, preventing scratches or breakage, and also allows for faster and more efficient cabling.
