There are latches on both sides to protect the components and optic fiber cable inside the box.
Equipped with a stackable, modular fiber routing tray (visible in the open views), the box supports 1×8 PLC splitters. The tray includes integrated fiber slack storage loops, pre-installed SC/APC (or SC/PC) adapter panels, and color-coded pigtail management (matching standard fiber jacket colors: blue, orange, green, brown, etc.) to streamline splicing and termination.
The bottom side features multiple weather-sealed cable glands (grommet-style, compatible with 2-12mm diameter drop cables) for secure entry of feeder and distribution fibers. The visible SC/APC adapters (with green dust caps) ensure low-loss, stable connections (typical insertion loss: ≤0.3dB per adapter).
Designed for tool-free access and modular assembly, the box enables quick field deployment. Internal mounting points and pre-marked routing paths reduce installation time, while the compact footprint suits both small and medium-scale network nodes.
