Description

Planar lightwave circuit (PLC) splitter is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology to distribute optical signals from Central Office (CO) to multiple premise locations.

ABS PLC splitter is most commonly used in the PON networks. It provides the complete protection for inner optical components and cable, as well as designed for the convenient and reliable installation, but its volume is relatively large. It’s mainly used for various connection and distribution products (outdoor fiber distribution box) or network cabinets.

Splitter Module Product Details

To make them uniform, there are nubmer rings on all connectors boot, IN for input pigtail, and output  1 2 3 4 .. for output pigtails, so it is easy to connect with connectors and check optical line internet if there is problem.

Each splitter module will configure a test report, and 100% qualified splitter can be delivered after test.

The splitter module will be with a label sticker on the ABS surface to describe the product details and serial number mark the production date and order, also there are 4 holes for mounting on the boxes where to install them.

All the ABS module with number mark IN for input pigtail, and 1 2 3 4 … to identify the output pigtails, the diameter can be 900um, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm with loose tubes to protect bare fiber inside.
