Due to its transparent and colorless properties, 1260-1650nm transmission, ultra-thin design, interference resistance, bend sensitivity, and extremely low transmission loss over long distances, single-mode bare fiber G657A2 is widely used in applications such as supercomputing centers, data center interconnection, AI and defense industries, drone communications, and railways. It supports customization of various lengths and packaging methods, with a 200um diameter option, and is fully compatible with G657A1 and G652D fibers.

Description

Bending insensitive single-mode optical fiber (G.657.A2) bears the entire characteristics of dispersion unshifted single-mode optical fiber and superior bending performance especially. It is applicable to transmission over entire wavelength from 1260nm to 1625nm. Under the condition of long wave band, the bending radius could be as little as 7.5mm with induced attenuation as low as 1dB at 1625nm.

Industry Standard

Yingda Bare optical fiber complies with or exceeds the ITU-T recommendation G.652.D/G.657.A2 and the IEC 60793-2-50 B1.3/B6.a2 optical fiber specifications.

G657A2 Bare Fiber Features

  • 657A2 features extremely high bending loss resistance in from 7.5 to 15mm bending radius range.
  • 657.A2 completely overcomes the attenuation of water peak at 1383nm and could operate over the entirewavelength from 1260nm to 1625nm.
  • 657A2 is completely compatible with existing G.652.D.
