Pigtail Fiber Connector Details
The ST connector adopts a snap-on structure, is made of metal material and a black plastic boot, which makes the fixation more stable and secure. It is suitable for fiber optic distribution frames and high-frequency vibration environments.
Multi-core pigtails are generally bound with a rolled ribbon or spiral tube at a distance from one end of the fiber optic connector. On the one hand, this can fix the optical cable to prevent it from shaking randomly, and on the other hand, it can keep the optical cable and the tail at a certain angle to prevent excessive bending and causing the optical fiber to break.
