Unbalanced Cable Splitter 1:9 80%/20% Details
This splitter features one input port and nine output ports. The splitter is designed to divide an incoming optical signal unevenly, with approximately 80% of the signal power going to one group of output ports and 20% to another group.
The fibers are thin, flexible, and have color markings (like blue and white) for easy identification and management.
The numbers on the fibers (such as “1”, “2”, “5” visible in the following image) serve as identifiers for each output port. These numbers help in distinguishing between the different output fibers, especially important when connecting to specific devices or ports in a network setup, ensuring that the correct fiber (and thus the correct portion of the split signal) is connected to the intended destination.
