Fiber Splitter Cable 1:5 70:30 Details
There are blue and white fiber optic cables, which are used for transmitting optical signals. Five green connectors LC or SC type, which are used to interface with other optical devices, enabling the splitting and distribution of the optical signal.
The PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) in the middle is a key component of this unbalanced fiber splitter cable. It is a micro-optical device fabricated using planar lightwave circuit technology. This PLC chip is responsible for splitting the incoming optical signal into five output signals with a power distribution ratio of 70%/30%. It ensures precise and stable optical power splitting, leveraging the principles of waveguide optics to achieve accurate control over the optical signal’s path and power distribution, making it essential for the functionality of the 1:5 unbalanced fiber splitter.
This splitter cable is designed to split one input optical signal into five output signals with unequal power, where approximately 70% of the power goes to one output and 30% is distributed among the other four outputs, suitable for applications requiring unbalanced optical power distribution.
