Working Principle
400G QSFP-DD FR4 transceivers adopts 4 CWDM wavelengths with uncooled EML lasers, and achieves a single-fiber 400G transmission rate through DEMUX/MUX modules. The module converts 8 channels of 53.125Gb/s electrical signals into 4 channels of 106.25Gb/s optical signals, and multiplexes them into a single channel for 425Gb/s optical transmission. Likewise, it demultiplexes a 425Gb/s input optical signal into 4-channel optical signals and converts them into 8-channel output electrical signals at the receiving end.
