Description
The ST connector was developed by AT&T company, with main parameter indicators comparable to FC and SC connectors. However, it is not commonly used in company applications and is usually used for multimode device connections. It is more commonly used when docking with equipment from other manufacturers. Due to its requirement for large space on the panel, it is commonly used in fiber optic distribution frames, and its size can be universal with FC circular adapter holes.
ST Patch Cord Features
- High repeatability and high return loss
- High stability and good interchangeability
- Low insertion loss and high reliability
- Three types of fiber end faces: PC, UPC, APC
- The entire series of optical fibers can be used: multi-mode (50/125, 62.5/125, OM3, OM4, OM5), single-mode (G.652, G.655, G.657, etc.)
