Description
Planar lightwave circuit (PLC) optical fiber splitter is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology to distribute optical signals from Central Office (CO) to multiple premise locations. Yingda full arrange PLC Splitter in balanced split ratio or unbalanced split ratio, which feature small size, high reliability, wide operating wavelength range and good channel-to-channel uniformity.
- Balanced splitter mainly are splitter 1*2, 1*4, 1*8, 1*16, 1*32, 1*64, 1*128, 2*2, 2*4, 2*8, 2*16, 2*32, 2*64, etc.
- Unbalanced splitter mainly are splitter 1*3, 1*5, 1*6, 1*9, 1*12, etc.
*** This 1×9 splitter is made by 1*9 PLC chip, not by fused coupler. Now Yingda can make 1×9 spliter in unbalanced split ratio like 85/15, 90/10, 70/30, 60/40, details please see below specification table.

1*9 Unbalanced fiber optic splitter product details
The 1×9 splitter can be used in ftth fiber distribution box as below model CTO-10A, which is specially design for 1×2+1×8 or 1×9 splitter, it has 10pcs mini sc reinforced adapters for box outputs, and 1 red color for splitter input, and rest 9 black color for splitter output installation. The whole box is totally enclosed after delivery, you don’t need to open the box on site construction, only insert the connectors outside, then can finish installation, fast operation and stable performance. It is suitable for outdoor wall mounting IP65 protection grade, high quality engineering plastic ensure long lasting.
All fiber optic plc splitter will be test during production, and before install into the distribution box, will test by visual fault locator VFL to check if it is broken or not too. After install, will test it again.
